The Galavanters is a friendly group to which any member of our u3a is most welcome. We do not have meetings as such but social activities usually on Saturdays or Sundays. We have a day out by coach every 4-6 weeks to places of interest, cities and special occasion events. We have been to Liverpool river festivals, a 60s festival and even a liquorice festival! We have enjoyed days out to among many other places Chester, Shrewsbury, Nottingham and Lincoln. We have enjoyed weekend breaks in Durham, Cotswolds and Bath.
