Everyone is Welcome to join the Egyptology Group. No prior knowledge is required, just an interest in learning more about the Pharaonic period. The group meets on the second Friday of alternate (even) months at 2pm in the hall at St. Teresa’s Club.

t each meeting there are usually two presentations on a wide range of topics of Ancient Egypt, such as "The Tomb of Sennefer, mayor of Thebes" or "The Rise of the New Kingdom"

The group organises occasional trips to Egyptology collections in museums such as the British Museum in London and the Ashmolean in Oxford. We have also arrange an annual study trip to Egypt.
