We meet in a member's home. We are a friendly group who meet in each others' houses to discuss the book we have all read that month. The discussion is informal and based on personal opinion - it is NOT A-level English! The books, which are supplied by Wigan Libraries, cover a wide variety of genres and authors, ranging from 19th century classics to modern day Booker prize winners including crime fiction, historical novels, science fiction etc.. Our Christmas meeting involves a D-I-Y buffet and a quiz.
